In the spirit of the late NYRR president Fred Lebow, the Join the Voices! Run/Walk was run today in Central Park to support Voices Against Brain Cancer’s mission to find a cure.
Dynasties Grow for West Side Runners Men, New York AC Women
Today's Join the Voices 5-mile was a fine finale, if not a thrilling climax, to the Club Points season. The perennial champions from the West Side Runners (WSX) and the New York Athletic Club (NYAC) came into the day with comfortable leads in the Open Men A and Open Women A standings, respectively, and both captured overall wins in today's race to put the finishing touches on their winning seasons.
