The Jingle Bell Jog is a fun and festive holiday tradition—with a purpose: The proceeds of the four-mile race help fund NYRR’s Youth Programs, which serve more than 150,000 kids in needy schools in NYC and around the world.
Four miles is an impressive distance to conquer at any age. It’s even more impressive for the approximately 800 finishers at the Jingle Bell Jog who are part of NYRR’s youth programs, which include Mighty Milers and Young Runners. These programs, which are free to participating schools and community programs thanks to a unique partnership with the New York City Department of Education, serve more than 100,000 children in the five boroughs of NYC.
