The NYRR Cross Country Series continued on October 14 with the Harry Murphy Cross Country Classic, named for a founding member of New York Road Runners and the co-founder of the Prospect Park Track Club. The 5K race brought runners across the Flats and into the Back Hills of the Bronx’s Van Cortlandt Park.
