On race day, a beautiful 20-block stretch of 5th Avenue opens to runners of all ages and abilities who want to run their best mile in NYC. Special races include a youth mile, the George Sheehan Memorial Mile for runners age 60 and over, the NYRR Road Mile Championships, and Olympic-caliber professional men's and women's races.
The TCS New York City Marathon is one of the world’s most iconic races. During the 26.2-mile journey through the five boroughs of New York City, some 48,000 runners will experience the sights and sounds of the city, cheered on by more than two million spectators, entertained by hundreds of bands, and be inspired every step of the way. Be a part of it on November 1 as the entire city transforms into the world’s biggest stadium.

Join NYRR and Oakley for the Oakley New York Mini 10K. This race was made for you! It’s the world’s original women-only road race, and it empowers women of all ages and fitness levels to be active and to look and feel great on the run. Every woman who registers for the race will receive a special Oakley performance shirt at number pickup, and every finisher will receive a medal. This race is for women only.
