Eat to Win

RUN so quality time improves quality of life.
The best way to get your family on the path to fitness is to show them the way. Families that run together live healthier and have more fun together. Don’t just run like a child—run with your child to teach him or her healthy habits. Many of NYRR’s weekly races include events for kids, so you all can get out there and participate together.
We also host Youth Jamborees and National Running Day, we teach school-age kids through our Young Runners and Mighty Milers programs, and we offer online resources like A Running Start, and health-oriented activities like Active Eating: Nutrition Education Through Physical Education. You want your kids to become fit for life. NYRR can help make sure that kind of thinking runs in the family.
