Increase the impact of your gift! Many employers will match charitable donations made by their employees.

Contact your employer’s HR department for information on how to obtain a matching gift form. Submit the completed form with your NYRR donation acknowledgment tax receipt. If you misplaced or did not receive a tax receipt, contact us at development@nyrr.org. Your employer’s matching gift form may ask for NYRR’s tax ID number (13-2949483), date of your gift, and the gift amount.

If you have named NYRR as a beneficiary in your estate plan, have questions or want to discuss your gift intentions with our team, please contact Daniel Sanchez, Director of Individual Giving, at development@nyrr.org. Written or verbal confirmation indicating that you have included NYRR in your will is all that is required. (Copies of your financial disclosures, your will, or any other documents are not needed, however, we do appreciate such information for our records if you feel comfortable providing it.)

An acknowledgement letter or e-card will be sent to the person(s) you designate, notifying them of your gift. The amount of your donation will not be disclosed.

NYRR accepts gifts of stock and securities.

If you would like to make a gift of stock, please contact Daniel Sanchez, Director of Individual Giving, at development@nyrr.org for our stock account information.

If you have already completed your stock gift, please contact us at development@nyrr.org. Please include your name, address, name of stock, number of shares, and date of transaction.

Eligible adults may be able to make Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs), tax-free gifts from individual retirement accounts (IRA), to New York Road Runners.

For questions regarding your eligibility for QCDs or your IRA, please consult your IRA administrator or tax professional.

Please contact your donor advised fund (DAF) administrator for guidance on making a DAF gift to NYRR. Once completed, or if you have an existing gift in progress, please contact us at development@nyrr.org. Written or verbal confirmation indicating that your gift has been requested is all that is required.

Please note that DAFs can not be used for bifurcated donations, defined as grants where one part is tax-deductible and the other is not. This includes (but is not limited to) event tickets, items won via live or silent auction, or the provision of any goods or services. For further guidance, please consult with your donor advised fund administrator or tax advisor.
